James Fisher NDT delivers the full range of conventional NDT techniques and testing methods, either in-house or at customers' premises for both component testing and plant inspection.

Using the latest non destructive testing equipment we apply techniques such as dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing for surface defects, eddy current testing for surface and near-surface defects in conductive materials and radiography and ultrasound testing for deeper defects and thickness checking are well-established because they can be the most reliable and cost-effective technique for many inspection tasks. In addition, James Fisher NDT delivers the Phased Array, TOFD and other more advanced UT techniques, along with semi-automated and automated measurements.

James Fisher NDT offers both film and digital radiography on site or at our premises. Our facilities also incorporate a versatile bay with forklift truck access to facilitate the inspection of large portable plant items in compliance with the ALARA principle.
